O’Toole’s Irish stout release & Music TRIVIA 7-9pm

  • Syndicate Brewing Co. 203 Summit Place Silverthorne USA (map)

90s Music Trivia will be hosted by Michael from 7-9pm, on Saturday, March 16th. Happy Birthday to our friend St. Stephen & Everyone is welcome!

SNAKES BE GONE! Saint Patrick's Day, an Irish and Irish-American holiday commemorating the death, as legend has it, of Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. We will be releasing our O’Toole’s Irish Stout on this day. We will also have some rad O’Toole’s Irish Stout T-shirts for sale to commemorate this delicious beer and this day-o-fun.

O’Toole’s Irish Stout (Nitro) ABV: 4.7%

Tasting Notes: Light in body and dark in color. Served on nitro, this beer has a pronounced roast and coffee-like character with an elevated bitterness and little hop character. A smooth easy drinking sessionable black ale with a moderately dry finish.

Style History/Fun Facts: Evolved from London Porter. Stouts were originally a stronger version of Porter and generally used some percentage of roasted barley. Today the lines between Porters and Stouts are blurred. Irish Stouts are now lower in alcohol, often served on nitrogen gas, and usually contain roasted barley. A sessionable style meant to drink in volume, contrary to popular belief it is not filling or heavy in the slightest.
